Most consumer electronics bought in store get 30 days, and wireless phones get 14. Items sold and shipped by a Marketplace seller may be returned within 30 days. Items bought from dealers or resellers, not from Walmart or Walmart.com directly, are not eligible for return, refund or exchange. The holiday catch works in your favor: most items bought in store or online from October 1 through December 31 are returnable until January 31. Marketplace seller participation varies, so a gift from a Marketplace seller may not get the longer window.

Walmart recommends keeping your receipt and all manufacturer packaging for at least 90 days after purchase. For online orders, your Walmart.com purchase history shows the latest eligible date for a return or replacement.
How do I return an online Walmart order?
Start your return in the Walmart app or online by going to your Purchase History. Walmart says there are four methods to return items. Only the store option skips repackaging. You see which methods your item allows when you start the return.
Can Walmart+ members return items from home?
Yes. Walmart+ members can choose Returns from Home in the app and may see a FedEx pickup, a Returns from Home pickup, or both, depending on availability and location. With FedEx you pack the item, attach the label and do not need to be home. With the other pickup you skip the box but must be home to hand the item to the driver.
What if my item arrived damaged or defective?
An item from Walmart.com that arrives damaged or defective may be eligible for return by mail or at any Walmart store. It may qualify for a refund or a replacement. Walmart says to start the return in the app or online through your Purchase History.

Check the return date in your Walmart.com purchase history and keep the receipt and packaging with any gift. If the item comes from a Marketplace seller, confirm that seller's holiday terms before you buy.
